She is the proud founder, owner, and clinical director of Children’s Art Therapy, where she leads a team of compassionate therapists committed to providing high-quality, individualized care to families throughout New Jersey.

Throughout her career, Jodi has worked with children and adults in a wide variety of settings, including outpatient hospital programs, schools, domestic violence and homeless shelters, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, and private practice. These diverse experiences have shaped her holistic understanding of the emotional, social, and developmental needs of individuals across the lifespan.

Jodi believes that every child has a unique story and deserves a safe, supportive environment in which they can express themselves, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills. She understands that each family comes to therapy with different experiences, concerns, and goals, and she values partnering with parents and caregivers throughout the therapeutic process.

Committed to lifelong learning, Jodi regularly participates in advanced training, conferences, and professional workshops in psychotherapy, art therapy, play therapy, sand tray therapy, trauma-informed care, and child development. She has also presented numerous workshops and educational programs for schools, parents, and community organizations on topics related to children’s mental health, emotional development, and the therapeutic benefits of creative expression.

Jodi’s therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and strength-based. She incorporates a variety of creative materials and evidence-based interventions to help clients explore emotions, strengthen relationships, improve self-esteem, develop resilience, and gain confidence in themselves and their abilities. Whether a child is coping with anxiety, trauma, behavioral challenges, grief, or life transitions, Jodi strives to create a space where clients feel accepted, understood, and empowered to grow.

Through Children’s Art Therapy, Jodi’s vision is to help children and families discover the healing power of creativity while fostering emotional wellness, stronger family connections, and a lifelong appreciation for the creative process.
